October Recipe: Sloppy Joe Sliders

Ingredients and Directions:

2 lbs ground beef

1 onion chopped

1 cup of celery (chopped)

2 Tbsp butter

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 3/4 cup ketchup

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp cinnamon

On medium heat in large skillet sauce onion and celery in butter and oil until soft. (Approx. 5 minutes) Add ground beef, chopping until pink is gone.  Add remaining ingredients.  Cover and cook on low for approx. 30 to 40 minutes.

This would be the perfect thing to make for those football get togethers and Halloween parties coming up.  They are moist and delicious and easy to make.  You can make the sloppy joes ahead of time.  Just reheat and serve on rolls or buns.  This also would be an easy dinner meal served with chips for you family, Holy Slider Heaven!
